Artist Statement – Gavin J Hurley

"My works take three different angles at analysing the ageing process.

The first is a possible future self portrait, signifying the length and mystery of our life.
The second work is three naked women, where each of the women display a different story to ageing; the real the fake and the unknown. One woman is all natural, one shows the lengths some people will go to defy ageing... and the young girl signifies the choices she is yet to make...
My third work represents the ageing and value of the Catholic Church."
