The people who once filled the cells of the Lock-up may well have had their faults, but they
also had dreams and hopes and anxieties. The exhibition, Being Human, presents and explores
these same failings and emotions – the things that make us who we are.

“Through print-making, textiles, painting & digitally painted drawings –
this exhibition captures the essence of being human from the perspective of mood (melancholy, joy, anxiety, pleasure, pain…), which is an intrinsic part of every human being…”
